  1. Civilization VI is the best it’s ever been. Played four hours of it on my “day for gaming” and literally had to peel myself off of it.

It’s turning in to my favorite iteration, I think. Another expansion might just put it into a whole new category.

    You should play it, Troy.

    1. i was a huge fan of the series, but after CIV:BE firaxes had lost all credit for me.
how is the AI nowdays? till the first expansion i heard it was terrible. not like to weak, but terrible like making nonsense dipomatic decisions, changing mood extremly on short terms, etc.

i’m a soloplayer, so AI is very important for me to enjoy the game.

      1. I’m playing on Prince and I’m losing to two different AI’s. I’m not the best Civ player, but I’d say that’s a pretty good sign.

I hated borderline hated Civ 6 until The Gathering Storm. With the recent balance changes, I like it A LOT.

    1. As soon as I’m back home (from vacation), I will look into making the process simpler. Also, Civ 6 with all of the paid content and free updates has really improved a lot! A LOT! I hope to publish our Gathering Storm review soon as well.

      1. Also, Rob, the banner at the top of the page looks great on Mobile, but on my PC it’s a little too tall for my tastes. It makes lit look like a landing page, rather than a news blog. Could you shrink it by half to three-quarters of an inch?

        Peace,

      1. ‘Finally enjoying’? Yeah, I’m not enjoying it pre-patch either. So it’s ransom. ‘We got your game. Pay us thirty nine bucks or it will never be fun’. No, I think I’m done here.

    1. I see both points. Since I’m not currently dying to play it, I’m waiting for the good sale as well. These days, if it isn’t a “must have” purchase, I wait for a 1/2 off sale to even consider it.
