  1. I’m going to have to call some shenanigans there Nate, saying you try to take the middle ground on principle when for a while you were on the most judgmental of Internet rages about Julian Gollop, damning everything associated with him. I suppose it’s hard to stay objective when you get burned personally.

I’ve been playing D:OS2 as well lately. There’s a mod called Divine War that’s been getting popular, and I like it a lot. It removes the armor system, which is a weak point in the combat design. You might want to check it out.

    1. No doubt. Notice the key term… Try. I try to take the middle ground when I can, I don’t always succeed. It’s easy to ride the middle when you aren’t personally affected. I never claimed otherwise.

As for the other thing, I put in cked up a D:OS2 copy for my PS4 and I’ll grab one for my PC too when the price hits the right point. Thanks for the recommendation.

  2. Hey, Star Zeal 4x dev here. Thanks for the mention and also I’ll answer any questions if anyone has any here.

Also, I am from South Africa. However I was born in Sri Lanka and moved to SA when I was very young, so you were not that for off Nate :).

  3. thanks for another great show.
is it only me or does the new intro spoken by Rob sound like some military instructions? :)

excited what new stuff is comming that Rob mentioned at the end!

oh man, Thea…..by far the best recommendation for a game i didn’t know before that i got here at eXplorminate!

    1. Heh, well, Rob is a veteran of the armed services :D

But in all seriousness, he’s just getting back into it and I think he will take some time to find his voice again. Each of us has a different style, and the only constant since episode 1 is me in that regard, and even I have grown/matured in my podcasting skills. But having Rob, Troy and Joshua take the seat from time to time will make the show really fresh.

On the Thea 2 front, I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I think it is a wonderful game, but it is much harder/easier than the first and different too. Many people are having a harder time adjusting to the changes.
