  1. Re: AI War, it is worth pointing out that you can get the first game and all its DLCs from Humble if you subscribe to their Monthly bundle. It’s one of the games in their “trove”. It involves spending $12 on a one-month subscription though.

Re: War of the Chosen, I *just* picked it up a few minutes before this WX went live, so I could get the new DLC for free. It really hasn’t been on sale all that much, at least not at a significant discount. It’s cheapish on Green Man Gaming right now though.

Re: Soapboxes and hot topics, I will say that I don’t really want to deal with all the politics in what is supposed to be a news show. I just close the podcast whenever those parts come up. Suffice to say that lately I’ve been doing that a lot. Today, however, I listened to the whole thing.

  2. nice show, thanks.

i don’t understand what stellaris is doing with these beta-update or other update to the current game where everybody is waiting for 2.2.
why patch something that you are making a big rework for?

looking forward to X4 Foundation….played the series till X3 Albion Prelude but they realy lost me with X Rebirth. i think that was a total desaster.
hope X4 will get the series back to what i liked about it.

  3. Enjoyable listen as always, guys!

I think setting some boundaries for weekly exchange content is a good idea. The podcasts are already kind of long (takes two lunch breaks to finish one right now, as it is.. lol) and there’s no shortage of gaming news. I’m not saying I expect the exchange to be newsbot4X but I can certainly live without the 15-minute meanderings into social commentary.
