  1. I never could get into Pillars of Eternity. I tried, I really tried, but the RTWP combat mechanics are killing it for me. It was much the same with the Infinity Engine games. I always felt I had no control, I was confused about who was doing what, and generally I wasn’t having fun.

    Divinity Original Sin is great though, both of them.


  2. Yesterday I watched most of the “The Road To Eternity” documentary on Youtube and I have great appreciation for the guys at Obsidian and their work. It’s always nice to get a peek behind the scenes at the amount of work that goes into such a game – more so when the game is basically not even 3D, but isometric (and I had the impression they could have made it full-3D from all the modelling stuff I witnessed). Also, all the character work, art design, programming, BUG hunting…


  3. Curious – with Stellaris – how does the new update play with all the old expansion packs? What do you miss out on if you get Apocalypse but don’t get say Utopia?
