  1. Troy, if you’re having trouble screenshotting the usual way, maybe try running the game windowed if you haven’t done so already (and if Eador even supports that). It may potentially help.

Anyway nice long show. I kind of expected you guys to skip this week, guess not!

I’ve been playing Rimworld lately. I enjoy playing and modding it quite a bit.

  2. lol….MORE…i was so often so interested in it, asked here some times if you can cover it and was so often dissapointed. i’m just not interested anymore.
i’m not native english speaking but there was a saying with “hitting a dead horse” or so….i think that matches for MORE.

oh man, predestination….was realy hoping to play it over XMAS and again delayed.
but now i see it as the show, the new problems might be good for the game so it stands more out when it releases.

on the topic of eXplorminate promoting unfinished games…..stop talking about and promoting Civ6 :P

thanks for a great and long show again!
And wish you all happy hollidays and a happy new year!

p.s. just as clarification….the line about “promoting unfinished games” was a joke….no need to start a discussion with me about CIV6….i just don’t like it :)

  3. Great show but you guys gotta quit saying you are too old for real time games. I’m 47 and have multiple chicken dinners in pubg. And play CoH2 every Saturday. Lol. Also check out Iron Tides. I’ve been playing it and it’s a fun little strat. Game :)

  4. Really? An update on vaporware M.O.R.E. and the patches to Children of the Galaxy and still no mention of Dominions 5? Is there any good explanation for why that would be the case?

      1. Looking over the Steam news feed they’re up to 5.09 so there have been several patches since launch. It all seems pretty minor and esoteric though so I don’t know if it’s really WX material.

      2. Yeah there have been several relatively minor patches though altogether they are quite a lot of changes. But that said, most games at least get a nod even for minor patches tend on the show. Most have been bug fixes (some pretty problematic ones) and most improvements have been geared towards modding so far.

Dominions is likely never to get a named patch or expansion, rather both big and little changes will be released periodically throughout the life of the game. Knowing which is which may require talking to someone who plays the game as it may not always be clear from the patch notes.

  5. There’s too many games to play… Ever since Witcher 3 released I’ve been been behind, and now games keep updating and staying relevant for years D:

Thanks for the podcasts, have a good year guys.
