  1. I think having Mark last time on the show was a great idea. Explorminate seems to have a good amount of great staffers who can provide yet another perspective on the matter and are interesting to listen to. So yes, I would like you guys to invite more people to your podcast more often.

  2. Heh, you read a different Stellaris dev diary than I did last week, Nate. Much of what you said didn’t match the forum post from Paradox. For instance, you talked about how an admiral’s skill affects the fleet soft cap, while the dev diary explicitly states this is NOT the case.

    That’s okay though.

Anyway, what I really want from the doomstack tweaks is SMALLER BATTLES, even in the late game. Snowballing issues aside, I dislike the giant fleet punch-out battles because visually they’re the equivalent of “&#%*!)(%&^@#)$ okay that side wins”. I’d much rather watch a smaller engagement where I can tell who is attacking whom. I didn’t really get that vibe from the changes they’re making though, instead of one huge stack it’s now just going to be multiple smaller ones hanging out together. I haven’t really seen any encouragement to divide your forces.

  3. Glad to hear Dominions 5 on there though felt like all the other games/updates/expansions got some discussion about what made them interesting/noteworthy/problematic and Dominions was noteworthy because the developers made a commitment and kept it. If you need suggestions were here!

  4. Generally speaking the staff love to get together to chat (4x) games.

It’s normally the schedule that gets in the way.

I think it’s a great idea and I really enjoy coming on to talk shop :)

  5. I really like the guests every now and then. I don’t think it needs to be an *every* show type of thing, but I’d certainly like to see it happen somewhat regularly.

  6. Good show guys just one request though when talking about a game please refer to it by its name as I had to rewind several times to catch the name of space tyrant, otherwise keep up the good work.
