  1. thanks for the show!

has stellaris stated a release date for 1.8 anywhere? or a hint about when it’s planned to release?

i have “we happy few” on my watchlist for some time so i’m interested in news about it, but things like that story shouldn’t get so much time here.

as i checked my steam-wishlist while listening to the podcast i saw “space battle core” and did check the shop page. the game hasn’t realy got any updates ever while on steam. does anybody of the eXplorminate team had an eye on it or maybe has contact to developer or checks their forum?
any update on it would be cool.

  2. I do not understand the goal of Anno1880, it’s a return to the past after the 2070 and 2220 opus… Furthermore they are not so good I think they should stop that. Days after days Ubisoft is more CAC40 than game company.

I’m also intrigue about Surviving Mars, it’s a paradox so we could speculate on the deep gestion and the complexity buut for what I saw on steam page the graphics seems quite light. If it’s another Unity game we already have Planetbase and Offworld. There is also Aven Colony for now. It should wait before to be edited.

Don’t you think We Happy Few is a kind of ersatz of the Kubrik’s movie Orange Mecannique ? ( A Clockwork Orange). I agree, 60€ it’s expensive no matter the game (except very huge games like ARK ?)

Thanks for this Exchange, I did not knew the Phoenix and I’m an old fan of Xcom first one in 90″s as well as the last Unreal4 opus.. Once again I do not lose my time listenning to you !

    Thank you.

  3. I’m honestly excited about them going backwards in time. I feel like they’ve kind of done the future thing and I’m interested to see how everything they’ve learned could be applied to a more grounded setting. If the next installment were, I dunno, Anno 2503 or whatever I’m not sure I’d be all that interested. But 1800, I’m definitely invested in seeing what they do here. Now if they’d just focus on city/building management and drop the terrible, forced combat sequences I’d be all in.
