  1. Children of the Galaxy realy has just a bad time for getting attention. too much other 4x games just out, so just bad luck.

don’t stop bringing up Ascendancy, it was a great game worth to get mentioned! :)

Barons of the Galaxy seems to use hosted browser game mechanic. the turn based seems to be given time frames when the turn is executed. for example: a turn lasts 8 hours real time in wich you have time to give orders to your empire, then turn is executed and the next 8 hour time frame starts.
    something like that i guess.

on the topic of At the Gates: it’s sad to hear how the project evolves. i’m with troy on his view on kickstarter projects. what bugs me is the news flow. if it get’s delayed, just say it get’s delayed.
if it needs much more time, just say it. if the project doesn’t work out, just say it is closed.
but not this kind of bad flow of information.

    thanks again for the show!

    • Worst AI? Maybe. I downloaded the Aggressor AI for it directly from Logic Factory. I was on a first name basis with the brothers (dev’s) until they disappeared completely about 4 years ago.

  2. Hi, two questions for you guys.
Are you doing anything for GC3:Crusade (extension or what not)?
Also speaking of abadon-ware, have you guys heard anything new about Shallow Space that isn’t on the usual raging on the Steam forums?

I also wanted to say I enjoy your content and keep up the good work.

    • We do have someone playing GC3: Crusade. Also, I haven’t thought about Shallow Space in a long, long time. Glad you brought it up. We’ll have to check into that.

Thanks for listening. We always love hearing from you guys. Our community is awesome! :)

      • Shallow Space looks like it might be turning into vaporware; be nice if you can get to the bottom and confirm/deny that.

  3. Glad you guys mentioned Battletech! It is looking good has the original creator and others with years of Battletech experience on the team. Backer beta starts next month.
