nice show, thanks.
great that you tried to reach out to the m.o.r.e. and predestination devs, i was just concerned as you are now.
looking forward for the GalCiv3 crusade review and maybe videos. i did take GalCiv3 off my list of games to play, but maybe with that expansion it will get back on.

Nice WX guys, good listen as always.
It’s good to finally see the Workshop working with Civ 6. Modding is one of the best things about PC gaming (IMO) so I was waiting for that before getting back into Civ.
Speaking of Xenonauts, I feel it’s appropriate to point out that OpenXCOM is still a thing, and there are a few pretty ambitious mods for it out there. Definitely worth a look if you like your squad based tactics.

Enjoyable listen as always, guys!
Regarding M.O.R.E.: Calavero (main dev) posts status updates to the forum at weekly, sometimes every couple days. He’s been busy lately trying to scare up some non-VC funding to help speed up development. Like any indie project it may never see the light of day but the guy’s passion for it is clear – here’s hoping the project eventually ends up in a releasable state. :)

In response to the comment about Civ 6 missing a opportunity to put in an Aboriginal or Maori leader in the Australian expansion, Australian Aboriginals have a cultural taboo about speaking about the dead, their TV shows have a warning at the beginning that they contain aboriginal persons so there’s a risk that you’ll be watching someone who might be dead now. Also Maori’s are from New Zealand which is a completely different country.

Indeed. I didn’t know about the aboriginal taboo, and I know the Maori are from new Zealand, but the point was about the region. Take for example the Polynesian civ 5 leader. He covered all of the Pacific Islands. Anyways, good post.
Thank you.
