I’ve got to say I don’t really get anything from you guys through the Steam group either, though I’m a member. I pretty much ignore the whole community feature on Steam. I subscribed to the RSS feed though so I never miss a post.

Hmmm,
Well… That’s why we mention things on the website and podcast too. But it pays to pay attention. We do have great giveaways and contests to promote these amazing games.

realy sad to hear that MoO:CtS won’t get more content. i’m not to much into it right now, but i hoped it would get bigger and more interesting over time.
the new mode to darkest dungeon sounds interesting. i mean the easy one….maybe i’ll check back and try to beat it on easy :)
couldn’t do it in the original game.
greenlight going down is a good step in my point of view. there was good stuff coming from greenlight, but there was way to much realy bad stuff.
raising the bar to enter steam a bit will hopefully raise the quality somewhat.
nice that you also talk about things not directly 4x like the this steam greanlight stuff.
thanks for the good show.

A poll done by you guys months(year?) ago showed that 50-55% of your fans want more MOO2 style combat. The new MOO game is not a clone. You can’t change a major part of the game and have it be a clone. A good percentage of people are still waiting for a successor to MOO2. Stars and Shadows feels real close but I haven’t had time to play more than an hour.
I feels that you guys prefer everything else but turn based combat when I listen to you. Nothing wrong with that, but your own data shows people want more of it. There may be a ton of 4x games out there but that doesn’t mean they are delivering what people want.

We love turn based combat. Just check out our stars in shadow review.
But it has to be good.

Not only combat is drastically different, but there are a few other changes that make the experience quite different (for the worse in my opinion). So concluding that perhaps the audience for MOO clone games is not so big is going to far in my opinion.
Of course a reboot with subpar design won’t be very popular.

The new Alliance of the Sacred Suns development video looks intriguing. I like the concepts and aesthetics they are bringing to the game. The idea of a political galactic 4x game is an exciting innovation. Here is hoping they pull it off.
