  1. Perhaps start covering Rimworld now? If the New Alpha /A16) contains traveling arround the planet, as developer images suggests, the last X it needed: Explore, should be covered too.

  2. So I was one of the people who spoke up against limiting the number of designs in the UI in Project Space Sector. The thing that gets me about this is that people argue that it “limits the number of designs you can have”. It doesn’t. It didn’t in MoO2, and it doesn’t in any of the MoO2 clones that use this mechanic.

    You see, removing a design does not remove any of the ships you’ve previously built using that design. You can delete a design and replace it with something completely different, and still use all the old ships you’ve built. This means that you effectively have an unlimited number of designs available, only you have to wrangle the UI to access them.

    And that is my problem. This mechanic doesn’t actually impose a meaningful limitation that adds to the game, it just hamstrings you for no good reason. Limiting the UI for designs does NOT limit the amount of designs you can have. It only limits quality of life.

  3. Really nice to listen, interesting and relaxing. I loled at the “thats a pretty low bar” observation:). I do think the number of designs in the MOO remake is a bad idea: i really think the only reason there was a limitation in the orginal game is because of hardware limitations or time for coding. I love MOO1 but imho its really bad feature to try to reimplement:)

    Imho its a very artifical limitation, that might force some decisions, but mostly it will annoy everybody
    I really must fifnally move my lazy ass and buy a sim card for my tablet so i can listen to this while commuting to work:)

  4. So, maybe you can stop saying that Arkavi and Grey Wolf are the same studio now? There’s only one carry over, Mike Domingues, and while he is the lead on both games, I’m sure the rest of the GreyWolf guys are tired of hearing about Lords of the Black Sun.

    They’re just not the same studios…
